The highlight of my day was seeing a bear in my backyard this afternoon! While this might've really freaked me out a few years ago, I consider it a special treat today (for a split second, I even considered following it when it started moving out of my sight)!

One of the questions I am asked most often is if we have natural gas in our area. Although propane tanks in Skylake are either buried underground or hidden from the street, many people would rather have natural gas than an unsightly propane tank. Here's some good news for our county regarding this situation...

The SKYLAKE POOL IS OPEN for the Summer. Hours of operation 9:00AM-10:00PM, a pool access card is required for entry. These are available from the Skylake office.
Two access cards (proximity cards) are provided at no charge to each lot in the community. If a card is lost or damaged, a fee of $25 will be charged for replacement. If you are a part time resident or weekender, please contact the Skylake office (706.878.2928) to make arrangements to receive your card.
