Below you'll find a brief descrition of our amenities.  If you'd like to see Skylake in person, just give me a call!

CLUBHOUSE - The large clubhouse features a basketball gym, spacious meeting room with kitchenette and a wrap-around covered porch overlooking Skylake.

COUNTRY STORE - This is a popular gathering spot for coffee, famous 1/4-pound hotdogs and sandwiches, old fashioned fountain drinks, hand-dipped shakes and ice-cream.  You'll also enjoy browsing in the gift shop and relaxing on the large covered porch.

FISHING LAKES - Skylake is a 20-acre lake for fishing and boating.  There are community-owned boats, paddles and life jacket available for everyone.  Privately-owned boats can also be kept in one of the many covered slips located at the clubhouse.  Lake Sautee is a smaller 10-acre lake adjacent to the horse pasture and is also used for fishing and boating.

HORSE BARN AND PASTURE - Privately-owned horses are kept here, but their presence is enjoyed by everyone.  Our smaller 4-legged friends enjoy playing at the nearby dog park.

PICNIC AREAS - The main picnic area is located next to the clubhouse with a nice view of Skylake.  Here you'll find a covered master barbeque and enough tables and seating for even the biggest gatherings.

PLAYGROUND - Located near the tennis courts and pool, the playground provides lots of fun and shade for our youngest Skylake residents and friends.

POOL - A favorite summer hang-out, the 75' by 42' pool is open from mid-May through mid-September.  There are plenty of places to sun on the deck and patio surrounding the pool.  There are also restrooms and a nice cabana for shade.

TENNIS COURTS - Four well-maintained asphalt courts are lighted for use day or night.  Several groups with varying abilities can be seen playing on the court year round.

WALKING TRAILS - More than 12 miles of nature trails are available to explore.  Each trail is a different adventure, whether it's the trail to York Falls, along the shores of Skylake, or over the creek which runs through the horse pasture.  There's even a hike to the top of "Grimes Nose", the tallest point in Skylake, where you can enjoy layered mountain views.

YORK FALLS - This is the perfect spot for a hot summer day.  The falls are spring-fed, so the water is always nice and cool.  Kids love climbing on the rocks and sliding down the falls, or just splashing in the refreshing pools of water.  Picnic tables and stone barbeque grills make this a great place to eat lunch!
